Secondly, a conditioner to fortify and deeply moisturise your curls as well as a leave in to prime your hair ahead of styling. Lastly, a styling product or products to enhance your curl pattern and provide hold. Some of our bestsellers include Kinky-Curly Curling Custard, Innersense I Create Hold, TreLuxe Reflex Curl Styling Serum and Camille Rose Curl Maker.

4. What products are used to curl hair?

Whilst there are chemical treatments out there that can make your hair curly, this is not something we advocate for, as these types of chemical treatments are extremely damaging to the hair shaft. These products applied with the right technique such as glazing, scrunching or use of the praying hands technique can reveal the most amazing curls.

The best hair oil for your curly hair type depends on your hair porosity, if you have low porosity curls a lightweight oil to seal the hair shaft such as Camille Rose Cocoa Nibs & Honey or Innersense I create Shine are fantastic hair oils. After a second glaze, begin to scrunch your curls upwards in the direction of your roots to encourage curl formation.
